who is calling me

is it what I think I want

is it what the world tells me I want

could there be another option from the eternal value

we believe we can do it

but why even try

if it’s not for me, make it clear

for all of it

I don’t want to fear the opinion of friends

how much of a friend

I am called to forgive

I am to follow God where he calls me

he will make it clear what he will make clear

there is nothing I can do that is of value

within my flesh, I want the world

within the Spirit, we find eternal life

when I’m running towards a goal

it is already dead by the time I arrive

and on to the next

all I seek is a fading time

we don’t have to focus on the darkness

who could tell us it’s dark

it’s hard to forgive people you love

yet there is a greater life than we know

a new one we never thought we could live

some things aren’t always clear

written in the sky or spoken from above

if it’s for me, it’ll happen

if it’s for me, it won’t

either or it’s a win

because God is for me

and if it’s meant to b it’ll still b
